UT1-Dot is another level than the rest, imo. it's like bass-line ambient. i mean, that bassline and all it's subtle changes, it really fucks with your head. one moment it's a distinct 4-5 notes, and other it's just a pulsing drone, so awesome. plus the synth line plays what's probably my favorite aphexian melody ever, behind the lead melody in Wax The Nip... oh, and the unintelligible robot speak, what's it, in cornish? fucking chills man!

actually it's not in cornish; was listening to this while falling asleep last night and was able to make out "technomusik" and "acid might kill all of population" towards end... any help here on the full lyrics?

nvm i found them. i'm not sure of their accuracy but they seem close enough. anyways, 'm sure this has been discussed here a million times before as it is...

untitled ftw

anyone get the effect of a rather large but distant bi-plane flying overhead your house for about 7 minutes while listening to this?

edit: on decent speakers

i don't know about the whole good speakers part though. listening on shitty quality headphones and straight away at the start that noise is apparent.

well, the biplane bomber effect can only truly be felt when played loudly, out-loud, through some decent quality speakers, i find... so as to vibrate the entire structure in which you currently reside, hence it's a very large biplane bomber, yet so very distant...

Just wanted to point out that it's interesting to me how similar to each other these two tracks sound:

I just like this beautifully depressive, cloudy/rainy-weather feeling they have (for me). In addition to that, they both have a green colour synaesthetic impression to me.

^One of my top ten Aphex tracks. Still pops up in my music rotation regularly even though I've long since mostly moved on to other kinds of music
