Autechre Autechre

Hi there. I saw Autechre here in Sydney a while back based on my "gateway" albums, Tri Reparte, Quaristice, Gantz Graf and some others.

When I saw them (him) though he was mixing up stuff I've never heard before. In particular there were some amazing bits made up of thick, walls of layered rhythms. So amazing I had to focus to take it all in, grinning from ear to ear.

Trouble is now I cant find anything like it by them. Plenty of sparse stuff, or glitch mania. All great but not what I heard.

Any suggestions anyone??

Live sets seem to be basically unreleased stuff, or completely mashed up versions of stuff that will appear on an album 3 years in the future.

Start with the Glasgow '05 soundboard, maybe?
