I'm the same way. I'm very hesitant about posting negative feedback. Unless it's constructive that is.

probably because he does make an amazing track from time to time, which gets you excited for the upcoming album, which then turns into a new-age wankfest. he can do better.

Sonny could teach this guy a thing or two.

probably because he does make an amazing track from time to time, which gets you excited for the upcoming album, which then turns into a new-age wankfest. he can do better.

he is techically skilled but uses this skill to bring his mostly tasteless melodies and harmonics to life. and they seem to get worse the less he tries to copy aphex twin one by one like he did in the beginning and brings more of his own ideas in that afx would never use

it feels like a really bad remake of a great movie

Doesn't matter really... I like his music. I met him once and he was very nice. So whatever. I don't care what you think and you shouldn't care if I like it.. I should be able to post on an electronic music forum about it. I will continue to do so.......

my only complaint about vsnares is that there are way too many releases with the same basic sound behind them. don't really have any problem with the songwriting in them in isolation, just an overproliferation of the same general theme. this makes him an easy target for criticism. whereas flashbulb on the other hand, it just sounds sterile and generic, not derivative of his previous stuff like vsnares may seem to be.
