Guest disparaissant
yeah the edge of the visible universe is 822,989,974,000,000,000,000,000 MILES away from us. and it grows by 267,840,000 miles every day. that is a number that is impossible to parse. if the sun were a centimeter wide, the nearest star would be right around 250 miles away. the earth would be slightly smaller than the head of a pin. basically we are totally insignificant. Guest disparaissant
well actually i was being flippant to paraphrase carl sagan, in the vastness of the universe, we're the only intelligent beings that we know of so in that sense, we are INCREDIBLY significant.
