When I switched schools back in 8th grade I hadn't told anyone I was vegetarian at the new school. When lent rolled around I told them my group of friends I was giving up meat and they were all like, "lol good luck". They were amazed how I had stuck to my guns, despite being an atheist. After lent, me being vegetarian came up in conversation and they were all like "Fuck you".

 

It was good.
