Guest boo
the oldest tracks i could find, from minidisc, ~8 years old. from the year i started making electronic music. Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag http://sisforawesome.com/upload/files/9/spider%20web.mp3 - my fav. track of mine, sadly mono and some sound drop-outs Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag http://sisforawesome.com/upload/files/9/robot.mp3 - this was actually quite a cool dnb trk but the only copy of it is a bit of it in a ~mix, so it has bursts of 'come to daddy'. Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag http://sisforawesome.com/upload/files/9/organ%20song.mp3 - just another old trk i found, not recommended, i don't know why i'm posting it. Guest DrHat
i think my first (recorded) track was one someone who was babysitting me probably ~17 years ago helped me do. it is a cassette, featuring my preschool self screwing around with some computer music thing. it also features me yelling, and part of yankee doodle, i think. i really should digitize that before it gets lost, or something. note: i no longer require babysitters, just medication. Braintree
Okay, so here's the first track I ever wrote. Fruity Loops 2. Before the pattern editor, so I had to do it pattern to pattern, copy and paste. edit: yeah, i used to go by the name bodyhammer from the PIG song "Sympathy for the Devil." 02_BodyHammer_Which_Way_Is_Up.mp3Fetching info... chim
the first results of me opening up reason and bome's mouse keyboard. http://media.putfile.com/derelict---spaceage-lullaby http://media.putfile.com/derelict---transmission-113 the very first track i made is gone, basically i realised you can take a string sound, put a phaser on it and then i went up and down the chromatic scale slowly, and i honestly thought i sounded as good as jarre. plastic
My favorite so far are kokoon's, 7pd, and tauboo's. Looks like a whole bunch a people started out with the noise tracks! This thread is great, btw. Here are some cornerstones of my musical endeavors... First track I ever recorded: Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag phat chance! I played the bass, did some mixing. The second, just because it's fuckin LOL: Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag surge ... mmm yeah... ok First song I wrote, but still with help from bandmates: Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag neverending nothingness - I thought my bass guitar tonework was legendary. First by myself: Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag plugged - good bass at the end! Jack Carr said: Heavily influenced by Biosphere - Translations Hey man that's pretty good. I know some people that have been making tracks for years that make more boring songs than that. Its been kicking around for like a year, and I just add and change bits when I feel like it. Little repetative and the ending sucks, but I'm fairly pleased with it. Guest Max
i think this is earliest track i've put on the web that is available 30 seconds preview it has horrible instrumentation and drums. plus its kind of stupid trance-genre, what the website is mostly about there. only part of history. the track has been made available on internet in 2000. if you want it in its full 8 minute orso indirect download link if mp3.com still was there, i could provide something from 1999. yet it isnt. i guess i have some track on a backup that is from 1996, i will try to search it out. it was cooler, because i didnt use useless miditablesound, but real samples in a tracker innit. i hope i can find it. for my very very first track... its saved on a floppydisk for my very first keyboard (technics kn800), and i've recently written an reinterpretation of the basic notation innit in 2005: Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag brennt die luft which is part of my daily drugs album available on retropublik, which is headed on trancy sounds too. the original melody is written in 1992, but i dont think i can make it available. Josso
Made stuff earlier but it's been lost on some burried tape for years now. So we'll consider this as my first digitally recorded track (I made this when I was 11 give me a break lol). I should rename it to digital click anthem or something jesus.... I suppose that was because of my crappy hardware sampler. Blir
Why the fuck I'm bothering posting these I don't know. Fear And Loathing In Mianus is my first finished track, I think I made a thirty second fuck around track before that which I didn't save. Biscuit Tin Adventures is just the result of me being very foolish. It was my third track I think, thought you nice fellows should hear it. I've only been at it for a few months. I'm still not much better. Ah well. Fear_and_Loathing_in_Mianus.mp3Fetching info... Biscuit_Tin_Adventures.mp3Fetching info... SQUIDLID
Not strictly my first track but the first one I made with Fruity Loops about 6 years ago, was pretty proud of it at the time and still listen to it every now and again for comedy value. I'd made tracks on Magix Music Maker before this but the majority of that was with samples that came supplied with it, plus it's on tape and I can't transfer it onto the computer at the mo. Hope you dig it!
