StephenG, realizing that moonchild had been gone for an indordinate amount of time, broke away from his homies Sirch and yo303 to search for her. StephenG figured she had eaten the wrong woodland mushrooms and was having a deep woods faerie trip, kind of like that disney movie fern-gully.

So, after I made friends with that bear, he helped me find some mushrooms and some wild onions. Strangely enough, what none of us knew was that this was the forest of a very beautiful and powerful witch... And seeing me wandering around in her woods by moonlight with her pet bear kinda pissed her off. So dissaperant decided to get revenge on me!

"moonchild!" She exclaimed in her powerful voice

"i curse you! By day a cat, by night a girl! Thus way you can never again help those dumb guys hiding in my forest! and ps, give me back my onions! So, shaking and crying I handed over the onions

"please miss disapperant, I didn't know it was your onions out bear!"

And ofcourse, since none can stand to see me cry she melted a bit.

"ok. Don't cry! I can't take off the curse (it goes against the hand book) but I will give you a hint since you are mostly a pretty good girl who china and slaves for those rowdy boys... (pinecone stew is delicious) I will tell you that in order to break the curse you must get each of those guys to do something nice for you and then you can tell them where to find captain 1236's gold is hidden. But beware he is way tougher than me and I won't be able to help you again!" And with that she swirled away into the night.

Dawn arrives, and poof! I turn in to a fluffy (very fluffy) brown tabby. The bear takes pity on my and packs me kitten style back to camp. Waiting nervously are the three amigos sirch, stepheng, and yo303. They are feeling pretty nervous because I never came back from the forest. They start to fight

Stepheng looking at sirch "you should have went with her! You are supposed to be her friend!"

Sirch "well she never asked! And you should have went with her! Your the one who was supposed to make dinner anyway according to the chore chart she made last week!"

Yo303 "you're both dumb! I should have went with her cause I'm the toughest!"

The other two "nuh-uh!all the jump on each other and start fighting like wild dogs.seeing this, the very wise bear dumps kitty me off and runs away. Mewling pitifully I try to climb into somebodies lap but since you are all in a pile it's almost impossible. Suddenly we all stop because w can feel someone watching us...

And then he feels creeped out because someone is definitely watching us.

It's true, it's true! Lying in a frozen pile now we turn as one and see! It is none other than cloudcapture the famous and benevolent mystic!

"you foolish boys have lost your moonchild! If you can't find her and make amends you will never see her again even if she is standing right before you!"

And as one we all scream! Like little girls! Only mine comes out a meow!

"listen up! You have lost the only key to finding captain 1236's gold and the only way to clear your names and save your hearts! Think hard and the answers will come to you!

Sirch! Who is the softest one?"

"moonchild!"

"stepheng! Who is the fluffiest one?"

"moonchild!"

"yo303! Who is the sweetest one?"

"mommy!"

Gets elbowed meanly by the other two

"er, I mean, moonchild?"

Cloudcapture gives then alla stern look

"think about what I have said and the answer will be there in front if you!"

Then he too dispersed into a misty collection of atmospheric material and floated away...

As one the guys turn to the helpless kitty and realize it is their beloved moonchild. And as one the all hug and pet her and say they are sorry for not helping to make the dinner or even walk out into the forest with her... So they each take a turn giving her a kiss. This ofcourse breaks the wicked spell and she is transformed into plain old moonchild once again. In return for their affections she helps them steal half of 1236's gold and they use the money to build a house in the forest and all live together.happily with a chore chart. The beautiful witch comes over for tea and brings along her new best friend the mystic and everybody gets cake. (and kisses from me secretly ofcourse) happily ever after! <3

you forgot the bit where the men all sit round the fire eating roast chicken and drinking ale and listening to sqaurepusher...
