Aight,

Probably plenty of watmm haters out there for drum n bass, but I grew up with drum n bass from a very very very early age.

If there are any fans, what drum n bass songs made the biggest or longest lasting impression on you???!

I'm still a fan of new drum n bass btw.

If anyone says pendulum, I will be very sad.

interesting?!

do you have a link to the db song?

btw I discovered squarepusher accidentally when I was (11?)... I was downloading trance music (yeh I went through a couple years of trance =( ), and was looking for songs by the artist massif, and accidently downloaded squarepusher - massif....

It took me 2 or 3 years after that to start seeking out albums or to even realize I wasn't listening to what I thought I was...

lol

ah Icic!

great tunes guys.

I was a big fan of early Goldie and also Dom&Roland (definition is an incredible track, dawning is awesome too....).

Also, Technical Itch - Pressure Drop had a big impact on me.

agreed, some of the early moving shadow is just incredible (the late stuff is good too).

Between Metalheadz, Moving Shadow, and Breakbeat Science, I sure had my hands full as a young teen.

I remember walking to jr high every day listening to that stuff in my discman, it was a sony Atrac3+. So cool.

lol

Moving Shadow is great ! I discovered "Hyper on Experience" thanx to this label, wich is more of a breakbeat project, but very ahead of their time.

Something more recent :

It's from the discontinued netlabel Plainaudio : http://www.plainaudio.com/

I like this Seba track from the Drumfunk Volume 1 compilation :

Ijo is pretty wild too :

Good ol' RDJ fake. Great song.

The actual name of the track is Hungry on Arrival (Spring Heel Jack Remix). Original track was made by Outernational Meltdown.

The whole Wipeout XL soundtrack is an excellent techno/drum'n'bass compilation in my opinion.
