Something about this doesn't sit right.

American media are notorious for misinterpreting scientific literature.. and are typically OMGYOU'REGOINGTODIE alarmist about anything that comes through the pipe.

Case in the point the big red meat scare that popped up a couple weeks ago. It pretty much flowed through every major media outlet,

yet the study that was done was an epidemiological study with terrible data collection methods. It's currently getting ripped to shreds in peer review.

just biked into say that I had a locally raised hanger steak with red wine and it was fucking incredible

*prepares to shit it all out*

When I was in SoCal last month I was amazed at how cheap Subway was compared to the UK or Aus. I also found it entertaining that they offered 'cilantro' (coriander) as a topping.

I don't ever recall seeing cilantro as a topping, ever, in any Subway I've ever been in - and I was in California when the first Subway in my area opened! Must be a new thing.

I just went to subway and there was much cilantro. Probably because most of the people here say they are going to El Soobway

I don't like subway myself. A 12 inch sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub has almost 2000mg of sodium.\

Also I find the sub tastes the exact same regardless of what combination of veggies you put on it. I'd rather go for quiznos.

I would find it entertaining too because i will put cilantro on anything, so that is the only reason i can see why that would be entertaining.

I must check this out. But my area is kind of hood, so if they have cilantro, it'll probably be labeled "weird lettuce" or something
