That vimeo link used to actually be the album version, it was high def etc. Then for awhile when u clicked the video it said a copyright complaint had been filed by squarepusher, a few days later it was replaced with this radio rip =(

I think it's pretty good. It has the epic squarepusher quality I've come to enjoy, ala Rotate Electrolyte, Ultravisitor, etc. It's a constant buildup and then a crazy breakdown.

If you find it boring, I can appreciate that. Everyone has their own personal taste after all.

That seems like common sense

Common sense is actually fairly uncommon.

The point is, it isn't really relevant or helpful to drop into a thread just to say "boring". Maybe something like, "I think it's boring because ______" would be more conducive to conversation.

Just a thought.

ah man I'm so jealous. If I hadn't just booked a trip to hawaii and if there was more notice (does anyone else find that this tour happened at the drop of a hat?! it's like 2 days after we found out the album was being made, all the tour dates were up?!) I would have paid to go see him.

lol yeah, but it's a bit of an optical illusion or whatever. If you stare at it the right way it kinda looks like it's moving. Either that or my hallucinogen persisting perception disorder is acting up.

RE the melodies: I think he's just having fun with his music for now. I have no doubt sometime in the future we will have go plastic 2 or something, but for now I'm alright with the cheese.

I figure.... RDJ has been touring heavily for quite a few years now, and his brother Ceephax has played some pretty cool shows, maybe the rave mentality is just rubbing off on him.
