Sigur Rós - Valtari

this is finally starting to grow on me. Varúð, Rembihnútur and Dauðalogn (tracks 3, 4 and 5) really provide a central core of the album, to me at least, with the other tracks kind of in a supporting role. it's a very subtle record, but the electronics are starting to show themselves upon multiple listens. still not my favorite (i'd prefer ( ) or Takk... most days) but it definitely has a specific mood and sound to it that i'm enjoying more now than at first.

Got a free poster with the album artwork on it from my local record store. I should probably give this a listen, loved ( ) and that blue baby alien one. "A good beginning" i think is how it translates
