I've never considered that we're living in a world where the audiences first and most fondly remembered action-film was The Matrix.

Damn you guys have high standards. Scifi has always and will always exist in that likewarm part of societies attention zone and you should consider yourself lucky if hollywood does anything scifi at all in any given year. A movie like this is the perfect opportunity to showcase what special effects have evolved to in 2012 and that is pretty science fiction in itself. Who doesn't want a big sweaty pitty hug from Colin Farrel after he just drunk fucked your girlfriend?

Seems like every sci-fi movie looks like Minority Reports these days.

From the trailer this looks very similar to minority reports style indeed with a bit of used future thrown in, the female casting is abysmal and they will be awful, i like colin a lot but i cant see him being suited to this role either.

Well... considering Minority Report was originally a sequel to Total Recall... it kinda works that this one looks a lot like Minority Report.

It looks balls but not as bad as I thought from the first teaser. Films like this can be fun, you rent them for a $1, get some friends over, watch some stupid movies and eat popcorn, then play some videogames. Well... if you're like... 15.

I have a man crush on Colin Farrell after In Bruges, but this really doesn't look good. I don't like the grey and white super sterile future city. It's just unimaginative.
