Their is no in game voice chat and as good as some people are with voice commands in Tribes it's not nearly as effective as being in a voice chat with some of your team members.

I suggest you Euros get voice chat going on anyway you can and any of you US players post your Steam names or something so we can get a Steam party chat going when we finally get some games together. Way more fun and effective for team work.

LawL. That's almost true but not quite. I pretty much don't see much point in playing with people if they ain't in voice chat, It's not just that i'm a competitive gamer but I'm even more so a social gamer. Gaming is good times when you're laying down some really good team work and cold kickin it shootin the shit in the down time.

you can find me (groble) there pretty often in "top" (team oriented players) room. read more about that here. it's basically a group of people who want to have better pub games. we also do some crazy stuff sometimes too, like melee party, bike races and nova blaster-only deathmatch rounds as well as training and more.

This game is my kind of shooter. The spinfuser is super satisfying to use.

Uhh dude, go back a page or two and watch the Fat Guy Movie or whatever, half of his shots are monster fucking pwnzors with the MIRV Launcher.

It sucks at the beggining, you need to get used to it, it's different from the mortar.

Yeah, it sucks this weekend is double XP in both BF3 and T:A and I have no internet because we just moved...

I've earned about 300k xp during that weekend. Bought the jackal, smoke nades and light assault rifle. And now I understand why smoke nades and jackal are banned from comp play. Holy shit smoke nades basically make you immortal and jackal is probably the best weapon in any case in the game. I feel like asshole using it but it's so fun, hard to resist.

the new update is pretty awesome in terms of balancing and variety, i really love the new spinfusor for juggernaut as it rewards skill shots by having less radius but more damage. same for mortar deluxe.

1400 dmg vs. 1300 dmg seems not very much, but i experienced that little numbers matter a lot in this game.

also, adam beker is lvl 31 now, nice work there :)

Hehe, cheers. I think it's time to quit or something, and this patch fucked up my fps so I might do that sometime soon, or maybe no.

The update is awesome in terms of balance, not sure how sents feel now though. Also I'm a bit sad that rock routes were removed :( no decent routes at all on crosfire now and no cool sneaky routes on kata. And auto nerfs are too small, but still a step to right direction.

. The new guns are fun, well some of them. The new mortar is great, it should be hard to get used to the different distance though, I think, but it can one shot a sld with utility pack which is very usefull. I love soldier new items, the new thumper doesnt suck finally and the new rifle is slightly better than AR as well. Pths new fusor is awesome as well, not sure if I like it more than the bolt laucher, the arc is actually a plus for chasing. Though the new technician smg is completely ridiculous, it's obviously a mistake in coding or smth. It's better than chaingun now. Price adjustments are great as well, heavy bolt launcher now costs 42k. will buy asap. Bought light sticky nades for BRT for 5k lol. New perk is pretty much useless, haven't tried it with rage though.

Phew, after what Adam said about the new update fucking up his FPS, I just checked and if anything I'm getting like 5 more frames per second now. I like that the new weapons aren't crazy expensive. I will be getting back into this game a bit more now but I've been trying to not over play this game, trying to keep pumped about until it has added enough maps that it's endlessly entertaining.

i recently became an auto weps hater (though i did like my binge with lmg) so this update is a blessing, i can now trollface the enemy base without pesky raiders/techs (i didn't encounter that new smg yet, though) tearing my brute/jug apart in 5 seconds. killing sents is now 9000% more satisfying .

no fps change for me either.

lol yeah sentinel, it's not that bad waiting a few seconds more.

been playing late at night recently, lot of nice games at that hour.. during late afternoon/evening it's hit and miss. so much shit talking.

after the last few patches, tribes is awesome again, so i decided to give it some more love in the next weeks.

Groble is still playing, too.
