Has anyone been in chatmm in the past week or so?

Every time I go in chatmm, its more deserted than a nuns chuff

Thought I'd stop by n' say that watmm has been taking over 5 WHOLE SECONDS to load, when I have download speeds @ over a MB per second! I dunno if it's chatmm, but it is slow lately...

I should add that my computer was recently reformatted, and I don't look at enough porn to get any viruses

No-one's in chatmm right now and It's a bit slow to load atm. Don't think chatmm has any bearing on it.

I agree. And sometimes it's slow and other times it's fast.

I have a theory -- but I don't know if it's my version of Firefox or WATMM Forum's server -- actually I think it's the server, because I get the issue both at home where I have the newest version of FF (13 beta or something? they come up with a new one every two fucking days!) and here at work where I have a shitty old version bc I can't bypass the denial of admin privileges to a peon worker like me:

Anyway, what I think is happening is that with threads with lots of KBs of content (most recent pic, favorite youtubes, funny pics), the whole page gets loaded once I click the link and the 'Wating for forum.watmm.com' thing comes up, but it's being loaded before anything changes on the screen, rather than when the screen 'refreshes' and 'blanks out' until it's filled with content -- so it looks as if the connection to WATMM is hanging, when in fact, it's loading the page in a way that doesn't look like it's loading.

... Does that make any sense? I don't know internet words.

just glancing at topics i read this as "obama slows down watmm". no idea why.
