Great album indeed.

I have been having a mass cull of CDs from my overly bloated collection, and this is one that I have rediscovered and getting back into rotation.

For me to this day it's still easily his best album, way ahead of his latest offerings, apart from the EPs which are very close.

The Skull Disco stuff is still my tip-top favourite work of his (In the Void and The Branch Is Weak in particular)

Saw this and had to comment. Agree that the vocal stuff is a departure I'm less keen on.

This album and the Fabric Live mix is so insanely good. Man is a genius.

fabric mix is so good i just consider it to be an album

Basically it's his live setup from that time, with some editing. Works  :diablo:  well

"[...]With the mix I've made, I have tried to make a set that would best represent the set I played on that night [at fabric], but minus the mistakes. Some of the tracks are re-jigged versions of older material, some of them are new. Some of them will never see a release in any form aside from this. Some of them are not even tracks, just coincidental parts merging with each other between tracks.[...]"

I think it's his best work if you don't count the album he did with Ponch.

SRSLY though, their collab album is immense.

Definitely tied with MFTQH/TDO as Shaq highlight works.
