There's also a No Comment no 5 coming, by Der Zyklus http://nocommentplatform.bandcamp.com/

I'm waiting for it. Albert van Abbe told me this is not the same concept as on the previous volumes, he described it as a "split 12" ".

His two tracks aren't remixes as I thought first, more own compositions using only one sound from Mueller.

The second one is more interesting as you can hear Albert's sense for reduced breakbeats.

That Zyklus labelartwork looks catching, will have an eye on it.

Check this GD track out http://www.factmag.c...roup-white-car/

holy shit, love it!

Strange to hear voices in a Mueller mix who aren't made with Vocoders or samples from media. Very nice bassline and a almost never disappointing sense for kraftwerk-ian beat trickery.

I heard he will also put out a box for the volumes 1-5 in the next time. Will come with additional coverartwork and more.

So go starting collecting better right now :)

Thanks for the tip, but I'm more in the "buying digital copies" business. The only artwork I'll see, is embedded in the files.

Yes, this goes also for the vinyl editions which all have a mark with that cross along some sterile fonts.

No. 5 should be end of march

by the way:

This is Alberts older alter ego Penik Ettek. Just rereleased on vinyl with a strong nod to acid and industrial.

And this makes the track even better, i.e. vocal in Arpanet's "Event Horizon" is horrible, that's why I love only instrumental version of this.

Albert van Abbe is an dutch producer and has played in various combinations under names like Clay, Pulse Projects and Penik Ettek (the last one which is now to be re-released)

I like his stuff, very minimal and icy but nonetheless also experimental in approach (there are a handful of beatless tracks working with stochastic sequences)

I remember a similiar review of his music on discogs which was deleted a few days after putting it online. The guy was also ranting about the label and that Albert is using big names to sell his stuff.

I have often chatted with Albert and he sounds very down to earth.
