Ceephax in Shanghai tonight

Hey, so I think I heard one of his tunes. Once. Don't know much about him apart from the"bro of pearsquasher" bit. Is he good live? Is anyone else going? Does anyone know him and want to intro him to me so I can show him the seamy underbelly of the city?

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

 

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

I was there! hell of a show. alphabasic stunk up the place for hours beforehand, but it was well worth it.

So I did end up going, and I'm glad I did. The showtime was advertised as 10pm but when I got there with my gf the place was empty so we were thinking of heading home...and then happened to bump into Andy on the street. He said he wasn't coming on until 1:30 so we decided to stick around.

 

You guys were right, it was basically just pure fun. Music was good, and more importantly, it was completely infectious to watch Ceephax bouncing around in a frenzy of knob-tweaking, with the clear glee of a mad scientist. As my gf said, he's "very cute" - it was fun to watch him start stabbing the air when he dropped a particularly wicked beat, or grit his teeth and look sheepish when something didn't go as expected. I've never seen another electronic artist onstage who conveyed the same "joy of creation", many are creative but don't seem as happy about it!

 

Anyway, a good time was had by all. Even managed to pick up a poster on the way out...Thanks for coming to Shanghai Mr. Ceephax, hope you enjoy the rest of your trip :beer:
