Free vinyl from The Bro

Ez guys just a man trying to promote his music and all. I've been at it for enough time so need to make stuff happen if ya get me! ;p Bear in mind I did say only like my page "if you like me and my music" so if you don't then fair enough. :-)

Anyways yeah for real I'm definitely gonna be putting out a vinyl in 2-3 months time!! :D Its gonna be a bunch of us - self financed sort of thing. My best estimate would be that tracks will be ready say 1-2 months then I'll upload samples around that time. Maybe you're right that I should post samples up first but if you've heard my tunes then it'll be stuff along those lines.

As for the free vinyl, I think what's better and more enticing is to say I will randomly pick a person out of the first one hundred who like my page to receive a free copy and post the name here etc.

Anyways sorry to offend anyone just thought you folks might be interested. :-)

Thanks mate. The Bro actually just came about 'cause my sisters always called me 'Bro' and I needed a new name quickly and it was essentially the first thing that came to mind lol. Anyways you can find my stuff in my signature - I'll let you decide what you think is the best!! ;-)

My point is that all of you guys dislike for Promo is completely irrational. It's not like he's here flaming people. He's done nothing that disrupts or degrades the conversation here any more than anyone else. He starts lots of topics that are popular, contributes a lot of useful info, and is met with some strange mixture of disgust and disrespect. I don't get it really. I mean honest spammers get less hate from this board.

Just reading the iOS thread you can see the evolution of this "anti-promo" movement. It's like you all think he spends too much money on old/trendy gear and so all respect for him has vanished. Completely bizarre coming from a group of people who are basically ALL gear freaks. It's not like he's posting gear porn in a forum with legitimately interesting or high level discussions about music. His topics fit here perfectly.

I think the general lols toward this thread emanate from the fact that Promo seems to be partaking in the pointless rat-race of acquiring Facebook 'likes'. Facebook 'likes' are a barometer for pretty much nothing. When hundreds of thousands of people 'like' KONY2012, without any thought or consideration into what they are 'liking', what does that say about the people that hit the 'like' button? Also, what does it say about those who want these 'likes' on their own page?

Wanting to get attention from an online populace that has an extremely short and fleeting attention span.

Seems extremely pointless to me, and I'm sure it does to a few others here.

edit: for the record, I don't have any dislike for Promo, he's an enthusiastic guy and he's making music. Much more than can be said for myself.

I like promo, I just thought his competition was funny.
