sriracha appreciation thread

Martha's pate brisee recipe is a simple go-to for Hot Pocket / Pop-Tart / pot pie-type concoctions. Just make a batch and use the amount you need, freeze the rest!

I think that cutting hafl-and-half butter/shortening into your flour makes for the best flake and richness. But the all-butter is classic!

My dad calls it "cock sauce". I find it to be a good condiment for pizza and Thai food.

(Not sure whether a period following a final quotation mark is considered grammatically correct)

To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

The other day I made up some sweet potato, carrot and butternut squash mashed together with sriracha and holy shit it was one of the best things I've ever tasted.

Also noticed Marks and Spencer now do pocket sized bottles of their own brand for a quid. Gotta get my hands on one, the idea of being able to put sriracha on anything whilst out is too good of a thought to miss out on!

I whisked sriracha into the egg that I used for my hot and sour soup that I just ate. I call it hot and sour and hot soup.

The first time I've ever used it on a pizza. It was just a Sainsbury's own pizza, so nothing special.

It made it immensely better!!!

A friend of mine called it rooster sauce. How do I express how disrespectful that is?

you tell him "IT'S COCK SAUCE" and ejaculate in his eye

SRIRACHA UPDATE

I made my first burger using Sriracha, damn that was a step up for sure, I am officially on the bandwagon

It's ok, but alarmingly popular with simpletons with no palette. A decent Nam Prik Pao wipes the floor with it, but then that doesn't come in a idiot child friendly squeezy bottle.
