Had a run of four days a week or so back during which I would have a single line from a TV show stuck in my head ("are you gonna stick on that arse?") then later in the day the relevant show would be repeated on TV and I would hear the line relayed back to me like some sort of freaky cosmic delay.

I had a similar thing a few years ago when I would see a particular image/images in my dreams and then the following day I'd happen to check out a film at the cinema and very similar/identical images would feature in the film I was watching (often really specific stuff like someone dropping a cell phone into a sink full of water). Only ever happened with shit I saw in the cinema but during that period I was writing down my dreams every day so I was able to corroborate the phenomenon on multiple occasions.

Need to get back into that habit actually as it turned up lots of similarly interesting stuff.

off topic: every time i see this thread title, i hear this in my head:

Got a strong urge to listen to a song by a guy I recorded. Put it on, thought, "Hey, I haven't talked to that guy in months, I should call him." He called as soon as I'd finished the thought.

My girlfriend and I often want the same stuff at the same time, which is nice.
