something in never noticed in GX1 solo

where do you draw the line? where does it stop being one thing and begin being another?

and why does it matter?

nobody has a fucking clue what you're on about. and nobody thinks it matters.

well then dont shoot up on the messenger on a very simplified and non offensive clarified statement of which was my first post within this thread.

you didn't answer my question. where does reverb begin being reverb?

it's freq dependent on upon volume. eg,

speech support at 80hz will require ~35,000ft^3 space. how big is your bathroom?

it's a transition region much to the same like that of the schroeder/davis cut-off region with respect to small acoustical spaces as we transition from modal to specular regions.

http://books.google.com/books?id=l1ul2d2jh0QC&pg=PA155&lpg=PA155&dq=schroeder+equation+acoustics+Fl&source=bl&ots=QqCLhpq1GX&sig=Fp7xwW-YdGXcFXnGnzE1cYEbMzs&hl=en&sa=X&ei=CnG2T7KaJYiViAL8_dzaBg&ved=0CFAQ6AEwAw#v=onepage&q=schroeder%20equation%20acoustics%20Fl&f=false

so essentially there's no specific answer. your argument is dead. you're talking semantics. no meat on those bones. sperge.

i'm a physicist before i'm a musician. i'm perfectly happy to use 'bond' as a shorthand for 'ionic sharing of electrons in the outer shells of the relative elements'. i'm perfectly happy to use 'light' as a shorthand for 'emission of energy from electrons due to perturbation of particles because of interference waves'. you are so full of shit, so anal, so aspergers, that i don't even need to argue. you are self-defeating.

ah, the playful mutterings of the helpless victim who wishes to make attempt to attack the messenger. until you publish otherwise, you're self-proclaimed "physicist" status has been revoked. feel free to post your resume and publications so we can contrast against schroeder/beranek/davis''s work.

lol. show your own credentials in acoustics, then we can talk on that level. and what you posted is classic strawman.

this is fun.

no! i simply small-space specular transition region'd elusive. no burn, just science!

i like the bit when it goes 'briauuu'.

Btw this is the first time I've head the track on headphones and I honestly don't hear any difference after the 8 second point, there's entirely the same acoustics throughout ... (well except for some direct line-in sounds at 2:11 & 2:30 for example, the sections where there's "the recurrent paper-like sound effects" as mentioned by the original post)

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

listen more carefully. as breakmelouis said, the timbre is different. listen to the hi-hat, it sounds like it's got more treble panned right, and bass frequencies panned left. or something.

@ Kainee

We are better songwriters than Usher, lets find ourselves a cute 16-year old boy and make him a superstar, we'll be millionares.

Can you work autotune?

Edited by YO303

in that particular bit the highest frequency of the hat hits about 22,500hz, not 22,300. whole different feel. and as brian tregaskin noticed, it's panned a bit further left. HUGE difference.

I really can't hear any difference - even when focussing on the hi-hats on my 'phones. Are you listening to the CD or Vinyl version of the EP (I've got the CD version)

you need to listen to the vinyl in an anechoic chamber to get the full effect, you stupid piece of shit.

watching elusive4 get so beautifully ripped to shreds in this thread was depressingly satisfying. the internet is drawing me in too much again.

hey messiaen, BD CH BD OH BD CH BD SD why don't you inject more ketamine into your eyeball. you suck.

you could be listening to melodies based on birds, instead you're just using dissociatives to send yourself into a K-hole. you are a bad person. and you don't understand the difference between delay and reverb.

i'm listening to an mp3. i have the cd but didn't make the test. i just tried with youtube and it's the same.

i'll be more precise: after 8 seconds, it sounds like there are more treble (or whatever you call it) on the right and more bass, or low medium or whatever, on the left.

by the way, during the 8 first seconds, it sounds like the bass line has extra 'reverb' on it. though it is likely that it's just the 'room reverb' (oh noes i said something inaccurate, ima burn) that can be heard and becomes imperceptible on the bass line after 8 seconds because the notes are more 'attached'. sorry if my english sucks
