I'm in love with his two other albums, and by the sound of this sampler it's going to be a mind blowing album.

Seems a little more "dancey" than Nothings, but I'm still really excited about it. His last album is firmly in my Top 10 of all time.

Yay new Ametsub!

I was just thinking about him either. He makes beautiful music, can't really say much else about it...Well, I guess I could say I love how plinky and airy it is.

Track 2 (0:25 in that video) samples melodies from a song I released in 2008 called "A Night Walk Clearing". Ametsub and his label got in touch with me about it prior to the release and it is 100% cool with me. Can't wait to hear the full album.

Haha, yeah. I already really liked his stuff, so imagine my surprise when he emails me asking if he can sample my stuff on his next album. I actually have a "beats version" of the track that I did for live sets, but Ametsub's treatment totally slays it.

Got my copies in the PO box a few days ago. Ripped one to the hard drive, but I have yet to bounce it to my iPod and listen. Planning on it this weekend.

Had my copy through last week, got round to it on the weekend, really nice stuff. It seems dated but in a good way, if that makes sense. Never heard of the guy before taking a punt on this album (cheers Norman Records), any other releases worth a look?

It's mostly just the background synths and melodies, the percussion isn't BoC at all. One of them even has a melody that sounds a lot like Wildlife Analysis.

How can you be a member of this forum and not like BoC?
