I was in Google Reader on the bus and this was one of the news items posted on BoingBoing (which I subscribe to their feed), and I read it and it was too funny/well written to pass up sharing with you all, so I quickly copied and pasted this via TapaTalk (so much for supposedly not being able to view/post long threads), and didn't have the time to post the attribution link (which most people know I normally do).

 

Why is this allowed versus other poop threads? Two reasons:

 

1) It's a masterful work of prose, easily on the level of a McGriff composition, and damn funny to boot.

2) It's me!

 

By no means am I condoning a shitstorm (ha) of poop threads or the similar, but like seasoning, a little bit goes a long way - too much and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth and ruins the meal.

So has anyone else here pooped in a squatting toilet? I've lived in Asia for 7 years now and somehow did not try one until today. It was meh. A bit messier than western toilets.

Yeah, I've heard that, but I still prefer low sitting toilets. Just put a stool under your feet and bend over, works about as well and it's cleaner. The floors around those squatting toilets are fucking gross.

i have long legs so the stool (lol stool) isn't necessary. those squatting toilets are a piece of piss to clean i reckon, just hose it towards the hole, there's no reason for those toilets to be dirty. it's not right that there are nice women cleaning toilets twats shit in all day. if they could just hose it down from the doorway, that would be a good thing.
