To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

I can name a lot of great songs and tracks from the 80s but hard to list whole albums. It's never been really one of my favorite decades in music so I haven't listened to that many whole albums from the era. I could name a lot of great albums from the 70s like the Lee Perry stuff and p-funk and of course the 90s was the golden age of electronic music but the 80s is a bit of a unknown area for me.

But if I had to choose something I think I'd go with Kraftwerk's Computer World and Dead Can Dance's Within the Realm of the Dying Sun.

There should also be something by the Ramones on there, something by Nick Cave, and something by Foetus... but I'd need to relisten to each album back to back to determine which is most worthy.  I also have to go through every Merzbow album from the 80's.

All of these are very nice picks, but I gotta say when it comes to Sonic Youth's 80s stuff I much prefer
