you could still buy something like the aforementioned g700 and switch it to wired mode when you'll feel the need (in fast paced shooters and such), in most other cases wireless will be just as fine.

yeah, that would work. i play mostly fps's but not all online.

oh i just looked up g700... it's just a mouse... i need a keyboard as well.

Yeah, you aren't going to find gaming caliber wireless products in combos. Also, if you are just playing it single player it won't matter. It is multiplayer that makes a difference. Some stupid bot isn't going to out shoot you because you are wireless.
