ok why so slow watmm?

it has gotten close to unusable for me lately. I am avoiding threads now. what's the deal?

for me its indeed slow, dunno if jr has shell access to the server, that could clear things up, maybe indexing the tables, if its a db performance problem, just a thought...

I still hold to my theory: Threads with a lot of content pre-load, while the browser says 'Waiting for www.ninjadong.com/forum,' so it looks like you're waiting for a connection when in fact it has connected and is (slowly) loading the thread even though the screen hasn't changed.

Either way, it's annoyingly slow.

It's still pretty terrible for me, at 10 p.m. on a Sunday evening.

I will sometimes click on a link and then nothing will happen. Not sure if I am missing but it does seems wacky.

And slow.

That's precisely what happens for me, and it's not just pages with heavy image loads. I just clicked on the football subforum and it took 8-10 seconds just to resolve.

my computer is pretty fast BUT...

Still seems pretty fast for me. Surfing in Tokyo's airport right now. Free wifi is great.

just fine for me. then again, I am on 100Mbps internet.
