This thread may have been done before..

.. But it´s fun to know some cool unheardof electronic music from all over the world, so here you can post just that from the country you´re from.

I´ll start with two really good electronic bands from my country, Iceland.

One, I only discovered just the other day and they are a really cool bubbly and dancey band called Sykur..

Another is a band I´ve known for quite a while, called Quadruplos.. mixing this kind of dubsteppy sound but so much more satisfying with its experimentality and hardcore dance beats..

Tomas Ford, dirty as fuck electro with audience interaction, lots of fun:

Umm, there's a whole lot more, mostly chip stuff though. Might post a few more as they come to mind. There's also Orange Dust, who I'm sure you guys are familiar with :emotawesomepm9:

If anyone knows of good Spanish electronic music please let me know. Apart from El Guincho, who is from the Canary Islands

spa.RK records has some decent stuff, haven't been following lately, but they used to be very iddems.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

I'm not a huge fan of the Danish electronic music scene. Most of it seems to be just Minimal Techno and that sort of stuff. Which is good. But I would like other genre's to be more prominent here. I think it's a bit weak compared to our scandinavian neighbours. But there definitely is good stuff:

Both not really electronic though.

I know that Kettle and Delta Funktionen are dutch, don't really know them. Speedy J and Noisia are also dutch I believe :D

yeah I guess it doesn´t matter if it´s not electronic, the electronic idea in the title was basically just to get people´s attention, but electronic is good to hear of too!

I like how this Grey lotus band is sounding a lot! I know very few dutch bands that i like (shocking blue being one of them ;) ) , it´s nice to hear something from somewhere you haven´t heard of that much.

Funny you should say that, I actually know the people in the bands I first mentioned on some personal level too.. Guess that´s not too unexpected of Icelandic culture... But right now we have the highest population that we have ever had! So good times roll..

Hello, Hermann!

From Ukraine the choice would probably be Zavoloka (girl who supported Aphex on his current live sets):

From Russia is definitely FrameWatcher, discovered his stuff recently and think that it's mindblowing:

Lots of nice stuff there, thanks for sharing! :D

There definitely seems to be :) .. I haven´t heard much from the danish music scene myself, but I would like to hear more and from what you´ve posted it excites me more!

One really good danish song I know is this one (you´ve probably heard it quite often):

Well, since we´re not limiting this thread to just electronic music, I´m going to be all kind and sympathetic and post a faeroese song, since there probably isn´t one faeroese person on this forum:

My knowledge of danish music is slightly limited. Because I don't listen to alot of it. But here's some songs I like (various genres):

Albeit not really electronic, a friend of mine releases his music around Maine. It is guitar music in the realm of instrumental, shoegaze, ambient, and sometimes lo-fi. His name is Tom and you find his music at www.lifeguitar.com

A friend suggested we go see this during North By Northeast music festival. I went in with absolutely no/low expectations and they ended up being the best live act I saw there.

Other than that I'm not too knowledgeable on worthwhile Toronto music.......

I don't really know anything about the Danish scene but I like Danny Kreutzfeldt a lot. I guess his stuff falls under the "Minimal Techno and that sort of stuff" category but I find his music interesting. It seems to have character and soul and a handmade feel missing from a lot of that clinical minimal techno/dub.
