Autechre parallels

anyone ever notice that the beginning beat of "peek 8243434blahblah" from RDJA (before the explosion) sounds exactly like the beginning of autechre's tewe from chiastic slide? just noticing some similarity.

i thought of parallel as in the bunch of songs in the quaristices

Pretty sure that's not sampling, they're just using a similar (or same) drum machine and happened to use the same beat arrangement.

Fore some reason i find these tracks pretty similar

At almost exactly the same tempo? Pretty sure it is sampling. Actually as far as I can tell, the main sample IS played at exactly the same tempo (pitch, technically) as the original, it's just triggered "note"-wise at a different tempo in the Analord track so that if you play them together they gallop through quanta of delay times.

Plus, the chemical brothers' version seems to have a different open hi-hat sample. More harsh.
