It's funny imagining Mr.Cool Guy say "coffer". You can see the light reflecting off his sunglasses implying the movement of turning around all cool like just to address this woman, and he says something very silly. It's his expression and demeanor combined with the ridiculous mistake, right at the end. It's simple incongruence humor. And I think I just ruined it by explaining it.
