Any genre, the stuff you chaps have found worthy in your travels. Maybe post a clip from youtube/soundcloud as an example, as long as it's kosher.

( Sure it's only the 18/09 .. but it's nearer to the end of the year than the beginning and i'd like some guidance on what you've thought nice given my tendency to not look anything up. Plus in before troon.)

Dean Blunt + Inga Copeland - Black is Beautiful - track 2

Reminds me of sonic youth. Probably the 'dream about you all the time.. etc." which Moore sung in whatever that song was.

El-P's album Cancer for Cure - Best overall 2012 release I've heard so far.

Robert Glasper's Black Radio is also worth checking out, even if you don't listen to a lot of jazz.

As a warning, a cancer for cure youtube clip, turned off my firewall and did other strange things.

I think it's a cover of another band's song from that same era. I totally forget what it's called though.

That album is really damn spooky though, and really brilliant. There's nothing else quite like it.

here it is

Uh oh..I apologize, for I did not foresee that outcome

I find Spotify is the most reliable source for searching for music lately. It's free, and I've yet to see adverse effects on my computer since I installed it. That might be a better alternative.

I could give a list including a few mentioned but something that first comes to mind is an album which, for me, came out of nowhere and it's very good.

The Micronaut - Friedfisch LP

:doge: Jet fuel can't melt dank memes :doge:

Swans - The Seer (most likely going to be my AOTY)

Flying Lotus - Until the Quiet Comes

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - ADBA

Ahab - The Giant

Burial - Kindred EP

Death Grips - NLDW (not that impressed but i'll definitely remember all the hype and talk surrounding the album)

So far, I've actually been fairly disappointed with 2012. New albums from some of my favorite artists haven't lived up to their previous releases

For the most part this will be my year end list. I haven't heard the new Olan Mill or Pausal yet, which may take spots in the list. Also waiting on Taylor Deupree's album, and there's probably a couple I'm forgetting that have yet to be released.

Deepchord Presents Echospace - Silent World OST

Simon Scott - Below Sea Level

Retina.it - Descending Into Crevasse

Relmic Statute - Untitled

Tape Loop Orchestra - The Word On My Lips Is Your Name / The Burnley Brass Band Plays On In My Heart

Panabrite - The Baroque Atrium

Georges Vert - An Electric Mind

Evan Caminiti - Night Dust

Christian Fennesz - Aun

Kane Ikin - Sublunar

EPs:

Stephan Mathieu - Coda (For WK)

Tape Loop Orchestra - The Killer In The Rain

Jon Brooks - Dieter Rams - Reconstructions

Kane Ikin - Contrail

Sensate Focus - 10

Gesellschaft zur Emanzipation des Samples - More Circulations

Synkro - Broken Promises

Compilations:

VA - Air Texture Volume II

VA - Lost In The Humming Air (Music Inspired By Harold Budd)
