oh dear lord, i feel so embarrassed to post this piece of shit, especially with the great stuff people have been posting. but i felt that i needed to do it to get some practice. i don't even think this can be considered Jungle. lol

this wasn't exactly 30 mins, more like 40-45. its not mixed either. just slapped a bunch of samples together that ive accumulated over the last couple months.

I could never figure out a good way to do loop-based programming on protools. it seems to much of a live audio program.

ya I hear that protools is awful for anything more than recording. That and I hate avid.

While not every track was created in 30 minutes, this thread evolved into me accidentally making a jungle ep thingy... because jungle is fun and easy and whatnot especially when you're not feeling inspired.

Synth is mks70. 202 and 303 doing acid bits. Rest is ableton

pretty rough still, but done w/ numerology + launchpad, all live triggered. (hence the bad structure haha)

Cool stuff, especially considering it was done with numerology/live --- are you just loading slices in a sampler and triggering them via one of numerology's sequencers?

ya exactly. Just tossed a beak into kontakt and used the mononote. Just set all the gates up to tie, and switch on legato. Great for breaks actually. I'm wrapping my head around how to do things in numerology more and more. When I started with it I was put off of certain things from the all step sequencing workflow, but it's actually incredibly flexible and not nearly as limiting as you might think at first glance.

Nice, I may have to delve into it more then. I was mostly approaching it in terms of analog-y techno stuff for whatever reason. Step sequencers just put my brain in that mode :X

Y'all are some talented folk. I'm gonna take a crack tomorrow.

But I wish I had an electronic drumkit so I could just do the drums in realtime and then perform the synths and then I could spend 15 minutes OCD'ing about the mix (as I'm wont to do).

ya it's definitely good at that kind of stuff too. :) I would never usually use it for this, but figured there's never a better excuse to try. It's actually quite interesting how it makes you work differently. You'll get a way different result that's for sure, than if you did it in a normal daw.
