Did a re-amping session at school last night and, among other mics, we got to bust this baby out (under faculty supervision). Not one of the clones, it's an original, so we were pretty stoked to even get to look at it.

ragnar is there supposed to be faces (other than yours obviously) in the distortions of the picture because it sure looks like that and i'm not sure if i'm just really tired or what

weird okay i thought maybe it was some google deep dream style shit but apparently i'm just seeing faces in things because my brain don't work so good. no matter, a cool shot

If I can somehow scam a promoter into paying for my flights over I'll happily play in canada :P

 

edit: my girlfriend and I are loosely thinking about planning a US trip next year (if it still exists by next year), could certainly swing past canada for a show or two (I've got some good chiptune friends over there)

hahah nah they're "modified" Ben Sherman Hornseas (by modified, I mean I fixed them with thread and superglue after they broke in the mosh at a chip gig)

ha, the photographer took a ton of shots right next to me but they must not have turned out well. It's just a volca kick, gameboy running nanoloop mono and an octatrack for effects, master sync and doom samples.. oh and one of those silicon pyramid oven mats for shock protection because the gameboy crashes if it hits a hard surface.. Not sure about exact locations; one guy is in Vancouver but I've got no idea about the others!
