crap, i have to sign up to get that mix?

worth it, one of the better mixes I've heard in a while (listened to it last night whilst mspainting), although it draws heavily from an experimental compilation, i think like 4 tracks are off it, who cares though, very well done.

At first I was put off by the simple sounds, but he's got some nice ideas in there and the atmosphere is nice. Opens up more after a while for me.

yeah it's pretty good, def the most eclectic and interesting record of Triangle since Waterborders. I never got on board the Shackleton bus, his music had a blandness and sort of overly bleak and unfinished feel that this doesn't have.

thanks to fred for introducing this to me. i usually don't got for the dark minimal stuff but this is really good. nice to hear something properly bassy too.and no fucking bongos

Tip Top post. I do like Shackleton but I think he could be better, for the reasons you so eloquently put. Bang on.
