Looks like the planet is approaching Earth and the atmosphere is interacting with earth’s atmosphere and “burning” yellow

My origami at the Bridges Mathematical Art conference, in Halifax this year. Just the clear icosahedron is mine - the mobile at the left is very similar but by a different artist.

Ha gotcha - reminds me of computer screen aliasing (when you try to take a pic of a comp screen and it creates blubbering zebra lines)

Hmm this is fun.

Been doing a live A/V show on and off for a few years called THERE'S NOTHING WEIRD ABOUT IT. I guess I'd pick this years old episode re: covid where we did a nice "My Generation" cover. Then one I did solo this year.

"My Vaccination"

Really nice music in the EP link, I like the VHS/TV style video effects, seems like a lot of fun to make something like this

I assume the vaccination stuff was supposed to be taking the piss out of anti-vaxxers, I think the vaccination skit needed more fleshed out characters or ideas behind it somehow - seemed like you were leaning too hard on random politically charged buzzwords  - "psyop", "gaslit", "uterus haver" - it might help to have a single focus for each bit - for example if you were taking the piss out of the way "psyop" is used, maybe you'd think about it from a bunch of angles, like what is the motivation of people who use that word, or what about them frustrates you so much, and then over exaggerate it... or like if someone is gonna cry about being traumatised by being vaccinated, how about acting it in a melodramatic way - like literally watch a bunch of people crying in melodramas and practice the way they do it? The person who was like "I hear the bees are in trouble, but that's not a problem for me because I always taste honey" was funny - like just the absurdity of that, and the slow way of talking was great

If you like ridiculous experimental/noise music, check out Violent Onsen Geisha and Hair Stylistics stuff

"Whoa! Check it out! RO-BIGH-DUHS!"

sigh.. "That's Ribena.."

Hey thanks appreciate it! Honestly the entire show (beyond making the song earlier that day, gathering the gear) was 99% improv...and I was doing all the cameras and effects, much of the audio, in realtime running around the room.

I do totally agree with the feedback - we keep wondering about diving back into these stream of consciousness shows and plucking out some good bits, refining etc. I think too we really just mock everyone - in many ways I completely distrust the covid vaccine companies themselves, and also can't stand the nonsense of the anti-vax crowd.

I'll check out those two you mentioned - thanks for taking a watch/listen!

Very cool! Worked at a book publishing place recently doing programming and printer repair...also a kid who great up on MYST, this is very cool. Design is fantastic.

Also did game development for a few years. Big fan of the 'purity' of puzzles.

Thank you! Yeah, puzzles are such a cool genre - as far as my game development goes, I came to a conclusion that this is my favourite artform to create in. :)

The moon is close enough to the host planet for gravity to rip the sodium molecules from the Moon and pull them into the host planet’s atmosphere to create constant sodium auroras

Fantastic work!

Thank you very much! I wasn't 100% happy with the result, but people seem to like it, so I should just shut up 😄
