Finished this earlier in the week for a music festival, not happy with it.

What kind of festival and why not?

Salvatorin, I think you are on to something with these last few (the smiley one and the first framed cube blob).

The colors + textures seem... inextricably linked? just right? I dunno how to say, but they look good.

Folk, roots festival in the country side. I'm not into drawing like that anymore, it's not as fun.

I created a plane textured with a smiley in blender and then fractally crumpled it, and then used the bevel function wrong and applied a simple twist deform at high angle

interesting! crumpling models like that definitely has some good potential to it.
