that scratched up out of focus landscape photo is fucking exquisite. I totally understand if you aren't comfortable saying, but I am really curious how you got that effect

yeah actually, kinda. The background in that one is made up of a few layers (from lowest to highest):

-clouds (same clouds used in all the other ones for consistency)

-more clouds (different)

-photo of some hills i took in the summertime

-blown up section from a photo i took from inside a car

-colour adjustment layer

Thanks mate! I've always been into origami too, since I was small. Been meaning to write an instruction book of my designs but it's hard representing 3D diagrams on the page - I've been trying to learn Processing (freeware animation/illustration programming language) but it's slow going so far.. I'm not a programmer!

i recently just found a bunch a shit i drew in my years at high school! very happy bout that. im a huge pencil drawing kinda guy. i like to draw characters mostly. i really suck at landscape and background stuff. though i havent drawn anything really for about 4-5 years. so i probably suck at drawing in general now. lol thinking about starting up again. so i figured id show ya guys the stuff ive drawn over the years. hope you like. most of its serious stuff but i did find one funny pic i did. if i can find more of the funny shit ive done ill share it too. and sorry about the quality of the pics, its the best i can do.
