They have those all over LA, and not just on holidays. It's a great thing, IMO. So many people here drive like fucking fucktards to begin with.

Put a couple drinks in them and it's Armageddon.

LA is the worst, when it comes to that sort of thing. Last night, I saw someone fly through a red light, over the double yellow, right past 2 ambulances with their flashers on, at at least 100mph. No one pulled him over either.

There's no doubt in my mind that guy was drunk, high or both.

So fucking dangerous.

Just to clarify, you shouldn't drive drunk? Last weekend from what I remember, Bob and Jackie my two friends brought up this concept when we were roaring down I-5 in the 100s like Nic Cage in gone in 60 seconds I recall Jackie mentioning alcohol makes it harder to drive, but I could barely hear her over the Bon Jovi music.

driving drunk is utterly reprehensible, and an invitation to tragedy.

I'll stick to driving while high with music blaring. A noble pastime for sure.

There was a big campaign a little while ago in the UK regarding driving on drugs. A load of police had lessons in how to spot druggie drivers from either just looking or their mannerisms. I remember queuing to get out of a festival and they were checking everyone's eyes and had posters about it everywhere.

I don't intentionally drive drunk but I'd say 4 out of 5 Friday mornings I'd breath over the limit on the way to work.

I've done that before, except i pulled in for a drink at every town for 200 k's. It was stupid and fun at the same time.

I'd say this would be most of the population. The number of time over the years that i've had a couple of hours sleep and then had to drive in to work. Don't do it any more though.
