where are you at marf? In WA all the bills were couched in bizarre, lengthy legal wording and seemed to say nothing at all (eg "This amendment would, starting July 1, 2014, phase-down the debt limit percentage in three steps from nine to eight percent and modify the calculation date, calculation period, and the term general state revenues. Should this constitutional amendment be: [ ] Approved [ ] Rejected" --- I have no idea. NEED MORE DATA!)

Md.. i had to get help. yeah, the wording was exactly like that

After driving back and forth from my house and the polling area trying to find proper identification information for the past THREE HOURS. I finally voted.

I can't believe they're trying to pass an amendment in this state to make it even harder to vote. If that amendment had been passed previous this election, I wouldn't have been able to vote tonight.

Voted Gary Johnson for President*

Voted Independent for Governor

Voted No on marriage amendment

Voted No on Voter Photo ID Requirement

*(Only because of this over-dramatic video though)

I would much rather Rocky Anderson win, but since my girlfriend voted for him, I consider that each of us put one .5 vote towards Johnson and one .5 vote towards Rocky.

I wish there was a "House of Romney's" cast of Romney clone candidates, i.e. like the House of Cosbys, so I could of voted for circa-2004-closet-liberal-Romney in primary.

Fucking lol! I completely agree with you.

Really excited to see so many watmmers voting 3rd party, huge shift from the 2008 election from just this small sample.

also glad to see the "a vote for 3rd party is a vote for _____" talking point hacking and coughing as it dies a slow death

"RAPE EDUCATION SPENDING"

is that like spending on how to rape better?

Well it's metaphorical. But like in a "it's God's plan" kinda way. And if you don't agree with that mister, then you are clearly attacking Christianity and this country's ideals and probably apple pie.

lol yeah. Dancing Romney would be a close second, followed by Ron Paul, naked Romney, and Jon Huntsman.

1. I would fuck an apple pie.*

2. Go Hank Go

3. If we're expressing wishes for changes to the political system, I'd have to wish for the loser and his family to commit seppuku on Capitol Hill.

by ditto I mean "wife" instead of gf

but its the same really b/c we were steady for years before even being engaged

According to Google, Roseanne Barr has over 10,000 votes as of now (5th Place). I don't think she was even on my ballot (which was pretty all-encompassing imo).

I'm registered in a swing state (CO) but didn't file an absentee this year - partly out of apathy, part being too busy. As I'd only be voting against Romney, I'm not that arsed about it. Although I would feel guilty if Romney carried it by a single vote.

Wow, not only a swing state, but you also have a marijuana legalization measure on the ballot with a chance at passing, and you still can't take a few minutes to vote?

A thought occured me the other day...if Obama gets re-elected, would he be able to see the new mandate as a sign that American people still (kind of) trust him, and take a second chance to justify the nobel peace prize he got?

I feel better today than any previous election day because I voted 3rd party for the first time. I voted for Kerry in 2004, whom I thought was an idiot, because he wasn't George W. Bush. That's not how the electoral process should function.

good reason to believe 3rd party voters 00 04 hold indirect responsibility for 9-11, the iraq war, erosion of freedoms, and economic disaster

the less you let fear mongering dictate your personal voting choice, the much better you will feel in the long run.

I voted for Kerry in 2004 and felt totally fucking dirty afterwards

make a list of the good reasons, i'd like to see this argument ressurected in 2012 for the sake of mockery especially if Obama wins

well you see what happened was the third-party voters all dressed up like towel-heads, hijacked some planes and flew them into buildings.

Then they contacted the spirit world, took possession of Dubya's body and signed the declaration of war on Iraq, the patriot act and created Homeland Security.

Finally they all became heads of major financial companies, lobbied to repeal glass-steagall and gave out hundreds of billions of dollars in risky mortgages.

It's just common sense.

this is true, i can't believe i forgot about all this. Also there is absolutely no way Bush used Kathleen Harris to knock thousands of black voters off the roster either, that's tin foil hat HORSESHIT
