reddit is ok

i like the horrible sexism and racism etc there its pretty funny, i used to go to the dailymail to get my daily rage but now i check out reddit :/ and truelad

also i fucking hate how oblivious everyone is on reddit, ie all the "first post" "as a _____" and other shit that obviously no one gives a fuck about except the person making that post

but it is a good place to find content, as ive found when i see shit elsewhere and show my friends theyve already seen it on reddit (sometimes). also my freedom of speech as a white man to be a horrible racist and sexist and thats freedom of speech there you go. not to mention all the jailbait shit that they really didnt want to get rid off but you know how it goes, freedom isnt free :( also its US centric as fuck

i get twitter a lot more than reddit because i use it as a newsfeed. i'm lazy, it's simple and to the point. especially since facebook hit the crapper this year. oh yeah, and no annoying comments from random people. that's a plus.

i am Fanatic about Reddit,

They like my music on there, because of that place, Reddit gets me paid, i make a decent amount of money off that place when i drop an album, also i have met some really good people through that site, some life long friends. it's gotten me work via freelance music making, that place has fed me when me and my dad were broke and starving via r/randomactsofpizza.

it's basically done a shitload for me except get me laid, which i haven't really tried.

my favorite part about reddit is r/all

also one of the best feelings is seeing that Orange little envelope =)

also, this one time after having posted my album, this dude messaged me asking me if i could kick him down my album, i did, after doing so he asked me for my address so he could send me a reward.

Reddit is a massive site with tens of millions of unique visitors per month. Saying reddit is a circlejerk is like saying twitter is a circlejerk. It doesn't really make sense because there are such a variety of places on there and the experience of reddit from person to person should vary wildly if they are using it well. I just think the main mistake people make is that they seem to define reddit as being just a few of it's most popular default subreddits.

it actually does! As i said it has tens of milions of unique visitors per month. Obama personally did an Ask Me Anything on there not long before the election. If you listen to his speech when it had been confirmed he had been re-elected, at one point he turns slightly to the side and whispers "thank you lucifer" and then lets his eyes roll back for a split second and hangs his tongue out. It happens ridiculously quick. Well that was a reddit meme that sprung up during the ask me anything.

the internet is full of unsavory things. i don't get why it's such a big deal that a site that aggregates links would contain this content. it doesn't represent users of reddit as a whole, just like /b/ or ogrish don't represent internet users as a whole.

when Redditors talk about censoring things, my blood pressure begins to rise and I want to smash something. that's one of my pet peeves. wow, I finally realized I HAVE PET PEEVES LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE. *pats self on back*

reddit almost got me fired that time that i browsed r/gonewildplus at work, so reddit is a terrible place full of terrible things

edit: I mean r/brokengifs, not, haha, not r/gonewildplus. what a weird mistake. What... what even is....

the comments thread is full of nazis fucks praising eugenics with lots of upvotes

well of course if you look at the front page youll find stuff like that you just need to go onto r/picturesofkittens and its ok!

over time I've subscribed to so many porn subreddits that it's basically become porndit for me. r/tea is one of my favorites, though. the atheism subreddit used to be much better in that it was more than just links to images, and there was more discussion and people helping each other with real life problems. I think part of the problem with reddit is that links that appeal to people immediately rise to the top over links with more depth that take more time to sink in.
