Those are the ones I know plus a couple others like Esprit, although half of them are the same person. But yeah there are like a million of them, the stuff is not hard to make. Airsports is my personal favorite. Jono Mi Lo is Daytime Television, right?

My official stance is that I'm just going to ignore this genre. This thread reminds me of that Shallow Rewards guy, and he cares SO much about things I could not be paid to care about.

I'm not impressed with any aspect of this genre

(least of all the music)

the whole thing just strikes me as a cynical cash-in by untalented people

This stuff is everywhere! Today there was a guy in the shopping plaza playing pan-pipes drenched in digital reverb! He was selling CDs!

I like this stuff, but I feel like I shouldn't in some way. I can latch onto the postmodernism, late capitalist, throwaway culture elements within, as well. Personally it feels like watching The Weather Channel's local weather broadcast in the 90's (for all you US peeps), but in a K-hole.

Weirdly I used to watch The Weather Channel all the time as a kid when bored. This was before they started injecting "programming" and entertainment on the station. I think it was because there were never reruns and it was never the same.

The Macintosh Plus LP is pretty stellar IMO.
