and the song is sounding lovelier than ever!!

i'm actually so glad thom yorke stopped the song to tell talking audience members to shut up. when i was seeing them last year and in the crowd / standing area of the venue, there were 2 guys talking on and off during a most of the songs. my brother eventually told them to shut up. he didn't see it, but the guys gave each other this real sarcastic/goofy "what the hell was that guy's problem??" look to each other, and stopped talking, almost asif they were in the right??

seriously. people talking during music performances has gotten out of hand > : |

In 2012, Radiohead performed on Austin City Limits (Public Television music show here in U.S.) and there was a very strange post-show conversation with Thom and Ed O'Brien. Thom was clearly drunk and continued to drink "whiiiiiiiite wiiiiiiiine" ( :emotawesomepm9: ) from a dainty little glass. In a very nervous, Stockholm Syndrome kind of way, Ed said that Thom pretty much writes everything and we work around it. Thom drukenly interjects "We're like the U.N. and I'm the U.S." and then jokingly (?) finished by saying "do what I say,,,that's how it's gonna be, yeah?" They laughed but I couldn't help but notice uneasiness on Ed's part. For Game of Thrones fans, Thom looked and acted like Walder Frey. Seeing him freak out at the talking crowd makes me think of the band getting the same business. It must be why Phil Selway continues to play the same beat for the past 20 years with his head obediently pointed downward.

It kinda annoys me how Thom Yorke seems to hate using accoustic instruments in his later albums.

^I've only listened to the album version once, but the piano version sounds way better to my ears. Don't understand his need to make everything sounding synth-y and fucking sterile and overproduced.

It wouldn't surprise me if he wrote this for piano in the first place, and then was like "how do I make this sound as avant-garde as possible?". Just saying.

I've known Thom Yorke for quite a while now, and PMS seems exactly like something that rat would do to make it sound acoustic
