Is it me or does he sound a bit more depressed than usual?

Interesting interview. More personal than I have seen. While I didnt totally enjoy Ufabulum, I did see the live performance which was a lot of fun. Just A Souvenir was for me his last great album. Shobaleader and Ufabulum were a bit hard to get through in one listen tho some great moments/tracks. I hope he does something JASish in style but Ultravisitor production.

I feel I've been a little too harsh on Ufabulum. I only just listened to it for the first time in months a few days ago, and it's actually quite good. nice melodies. I think my main problem was that I listened to it TOO much in the days after release and then grew tired of it.

yeah Ufabulum is like eating too much ice-cream. Puts you off for a while after you binge on it but it's still really good. That interview was cool and they filmed the live stuff really well too.

and i don't think anybody with a brain would ever be in a super chipper mood when being interviewed by pitchfork
