i've been wanting to get on with this show for such a long time but i can't seem to find english subtitles anywhere, and none of the dvd or bluray for sale have ear impaired subs... :((((

Last night's episode had a scene that reminded me of the EKT subforum.

This is true, couple years back bunch of friends were watching the show and it seemed dumb... so me and another friend went out to go smoke, we come back and they're still watching it we both just kinda stood in the doorway transfixed, until I was like "oooooh... now I know why people watch this!"

Just been getting into the show and this absolutely killed me.

The latest episode, "James Baxter the Horse" is hilarious - and about music making, too.

The visuals are insane in certain episodes, even when sober. I find myself reciting the dialogue and singing songs from the show all of the time as well.

didn't know about Bravest Warriors so i thank to this thread for it... can't believe IMDB doesn't have this in the "People who liked this also liked... " section...

 

so i was trying to find shows that fall in the same genre, i mean, 'out there', surreal... Rick and Morty turned out to be one of my favorite things ever but i tried every other suggestion with no luck, regular show was just meh, i guess i'll give it another try...

 

Space Dandy comes to mind and Kaiba from the creator of Mindgame but i can't seem to find anything else that falls into this category worth checking out... any suggestions watmm???

Highly recommend giving Regular Show another try! It was much stronger in it's earlier seasons, then started going down hill, but recently has come back to strong form. There's some really excellent episodes, and some not so much, but sure that's just what happens when a show runs so long.

I stopped watching Adventure Time but looking to pick it up again - watched the first episode of season 7 and it seemed like it had become serialised? Does it matter about watching them in order since the last few seasons? or can  you just start anywhere?

AT is the best thing ever. GF gave me an 'Adventure Time Encyclopaedia' and an AT themed Monopoly for bday + xmas. I sometimes feel like AT is to series what (some) IDM is to music: highly original and emotional, but not in a typical clichéish way. Watched every episode 3 times or sth, only thing I've ever done that with was Twin Peaks.

Will be interesting to see if they can keep the format fresh and strong over its last two seasons (it is set to end with Series 9).
