How was your last day? Hopefully your new job pays better. My job (also with the state) pays quite poorly but I get loads of vacation time, plus holidays.

My last day was pretty great; thanks. I'm kind of glad not to have to think about timeshares and phone scams and telemarketers and electronic cigarettes and weight loss potions and pajama jeans and tooth whitening for a change....also, I'm getting a mega (15k/yr) raise! I start Monday so wish me luck!

I will miss the silly complaints people filed though. I think my fav+ was the one where the guy ordered 26 vibrators on Amazon because they were mismarked at $0.99/vibe and they refused to fulfill his order. So, naturally, he complained to the state.

Aw that's too bad. I run printshop of my own, been here almost 11 years now. Lot has changed in the industry and it was starting to suck having a retail/copy center setup. No money to be made there, just time consuming single doc prints from USB drives all day. I closed my retail space in August and moved to a commercial space out in the country. Now I just focus on my big clients and hang out. Cheaper rent, more money, less hours/flexible schedule.

Yeah I mean it was cool work, but I started young as it's a family company, but lately it's been shit, the higher ups (way extended family fack offs) are too old school, can't transition to the digital market. Had to get out :/
