I'm sad to hear about Jeri leaving because she's kind of one of my heroes. But I could see this being a problem with her. She's a bit of a rugged individualist.

It blows for the 25 people who've been made unemployed, but I'd imagine that with Valve on your CV it won't be too hard to find more work and they're probably loaded from their fat Valve salaries.

 

What's really funny is watching compson throw a full-on wobbly because a business he likes is talking to a business he doesn't like.

it was a rumour that got took too far by the 'news' outlets.

 

I say 'news', when I actually mean the tech blogs that have about as much journalistic integrity as I do.

not surprising in the least, there was a recent one where some guy went to rather great lengths to fake a 3D render of a supposed new Sony Android-based handset, which turned out to be completely fake.

 

the thing that is most surprising is that people still eat up this shit.

Silly mortals, it is well known that the layoffs were due to the fact that Gabe Newell wanted snack bar all to himself.
