Really though I'd probably go with a nice 12+ y.o. Irish like Midleton. Voted for bourbon since that's my cheaper go-to option nowadays. Also enjoy rye and Canadian (also not on list)

The only Irish Whiskey you can seem to get in the UK is Jamesons, which imo isn't exactly all that. However, just for you Bob, I'll add an option for you to express your love for Irish Whiskey

Alcohol exports are weird like that - there are probably twice as many varieties of Irish whiskey available here in the States, and those that are available in both the US/ROI are a lot cheaper here .

I'd find it fucking hard to give up whiskey, but as I could never choose between scotch and bourbon I went with red wine.

I used to buy this german beer called Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock and i loved it i would love to drink that instead of budweiser but its so hard to get it where am at.

I will definitely try to do some research and change to a better brand of beer, if i move out of this god forsaken town i will most likely change beers (i have two liquor stores in my town both of them sell shitty mass produced beers)

What cheap brands would you guys recommend? (and dont say corona i fucking hate corona)

go polish? pretty much everywhere in the uk (are you from uk?) stocks polish beer now. any of these are good but i especially like tyskie and zubr (don't taste like watery piss though so maybe not for you)...

I'm not in the uk (if i was i would probably not drink budweiser).

The local liquor store only sells stuff like coors light, corona and haineken, its not like i have this huge variety of options to choose from and i wont drive 20 miles to buy the beer i want to drink (i dont have a car/money)

Zubr is lovely, I drank quite a lot when I was unemployed because it's such good value. At 6% abv rather than the usual 5%, it's like you get an extra "can" of alcoholic content when you buy a 6-pack. Zubr also means bison I think, and there's a picture of a bison on the label. Given the choice I'd always pick booze with an animal on the bottle, see also Wild Turkey.

Tullamore Dew and Bushmills are both readily available at most supermarkets but if you go to a half decent off-license they'll have much more choice

I love a good whisky but I have to be in the mood for it and I don't binge on whisky either.

So voted vodka because you can have that anytime, taste and odor are subtle enough that you can drink it like water, and it's guaranteed to fuck you up.

bourbon. with gin being a close second. beer is cool but the buzz is way too heavy, wine gives me acid reflux, vodka makes me want to puke. everything else is silly things you pour into aforemntioned stuff.
