Yep that's what i meant. Warp are many, i'm fully aware bibio is one single person. It's a warp viral video ...and that's not to say i'm just being a cynical cunt, as it's always a mater of opinion, but the obscurity just gives that impression

I love Brazilian music (i'm obsessed) and Ambivalence Ave. really hit my G-spot

the last album definitely wasn't bad but it was a bit thin on the bits I fancy

P.S. Was there ever any doubt this was Bibio?

Ornate whimsical guitar recorded onto a portastudio and then mastered so it doesn't sound like a demo

I thought Ambivalence Ave was great! I prefer it over Mind Bokeh but I still thought there were a lot of good choons in it.

Love this guy, his vox miss the mark sometimes but I get the impression that he's always pushing himself and trying out new stuff. Hope this one is proper weird. Excited!

Hoping he goes back to basics here. Or makes some lush chopped up vocal hip hop. I think those are his strong points. Not Thin Lizzy

Never heard it until now. Wish that was on the album instead.

The loop on the video alone has got me excited. I liked Mind Bokeh least of all his albums which meant I still liked it a lot. He's an artist I never fail to have faith in, if anyone's going to confound expectations it's him, for better or worse.

Yeah I have huge amounts of faith in him. He's got the goods now it's just a matter of what direction he goes in.

mind bokeh was my AOTY 2011, I would love more in that direction but I'd also love more like his older stuff. I think this will be closer to ambivalence avenue than mind bokeh.
