Those sorts of species are very sociable. It depresses me when people lock them in cages all day, just to have a bird. Creatures born to fly and more intelligence than they were originally given credit for sitting in a cage on someone's back veranda. Slowly going nuts.

I completely agree. Birds should not be kept in cages.
