It's a juvenile you can tell by they grey feathers and the noise it's making. Maybe it fell out of the nest and they were bringing it up.

one of the best parts of this is, that animal is called a dik-dik

I had some dik-diks sleeping on our ground level balcony one night in Africa. I didn't sleep at all because d'awwwwwww
