By that reasoning, we would have had a BoC release shortly after the last time JR pulled this sort of thing. And the time before that. I guess the difficulty arises in virtue of the vagueness of the term "not too distant future". The boundaries for that predicate are unclear.

I may have made those jokes in the past since I was aware that something was pending, and unfortunately it didn't (obviously) pan out.

Reverse psychology? I don't believe anything anymore where BoC rumour & speculation are concerned. It's gotten so bad I think I'll take some convinving even if I were (by some miracle) holding a new BoC album in my hand. I still wouldn't believe it then!! I'd be convinced it was another hoax. I'll start playing it & here this;

Well, when you look at it from your perspective, it's no different than before, I suppose.
